Steven, Putin is pure evil. He must be extinguished.

Said the old consciousness. Eloquently. And guess what? He seems to think the same about us. I'm just a messenger here and it's the Law of Conservation of Energy or of Mass that tells us it's all part of the same whole.

Which means, I failed to say, that NOTHING can be "extinguished." It's physics.

You are RIGHT! There are two sides to every story and we need to LOOK at both sides and understand and have compassion for them. Here are some things I question:

Biden and the media desperately want you to believe Russia is the bad guy and Ukraine is a little angel. They want you to fall in love with underdog Ukraine. (Meanwhile, last time I checked it has the reputation of being the 4th to the last most corrupt nations in the world.) It's where people go to launder money. And yet the media want you to support America getting involved on behalf of Ukraine?

To get your support, they need the media to sell you a bill of goods. But it just doesn’t add up. First, Biden is the one who funded Russia’s invasion. Biden killed our pipelines, killed coal, banned drilling, which made us dependent on Russian oil, which made Russia filthy rich and arrogant. Biden paid for this war.

Second, if Putin is the “bad guy,” if Russia is evil, why is Biden continuing to buy billions of dollars of oil from Russia every day? Does this make sense?

I am not for what Putin is doing at all. I have a lot of Russian friends and they are not for it either but after years of telling NATO to back off and NATO continuing to break their written agreements to Russia he saw his opportunity. ... Also FYI, Ukraine is not a free country. Russians who live there are NOT allowed to vote or have the same rights as the others in that country. This has been a bone of contention with Putin for years.

Two sides to every story. Like you said, back off and SEE both so we can all understand better and have more affinity for what is going on so we can figure out how to stop it.

This is way "Off Topic" (as you would say) but I am struggling as to how one justifies this sort of thing happening that is being totally suppressed in our media. I would have sent it to you in an email, but your usual email doesn't seem to be working... would be curious as to what you think about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G3nWyoQ5CQ

YOU! :) Yes, yes, my email is a disaster and I've been addressing it for too long last few weeks, which is why I'm so behind specifically on my responses to you. Soon.

AND...yes, the conscious path means taking responsibility. And it means being where we are. And being compassionate with ourselves. And recognizing that just changing how we think about things is a lot. It's monumental. In other words, you're already doing it and any more is gravy. Says me anyway. xo

Agreed on all points. It definitely takes work to change our habits/behaviors/unintended intentions (thanks, parents and culture at large) and I'm grateful for this newletter and it's weekly reminder of the work. Every little bit of conscious awakening does take hold, I can feel it when something comes up again later and I can catch it, in myself, and even more often in others. Spreading this concept is peace-inspiring, in myself and for the greater collective.
