"...we are simply feeding the beast we abhor." This line sings true to my soul. I work hard to release judgement and find compassion yet it is easy to slip back into old habits/ old consciousness. A meme or tweet targets the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe and I smirk but it also leaves a black smear interally. Old concsciousness me, from the east coast and highly judgemental cultural upbringing initially thinks, "Yes! See? My anger is reflected in other people's creativity and linguistic prowess!" Then the new consciousness me, who is deep within, in my intuituition, fighting to be the ONLY me, churns and twists uncomfortably. "This isn't helping," she says. "No, not this," she pleads.
We must rise up, this is true. Some will be motivated by this hate for hate, judgement for judgement, but for me, I hope to find a more forward-thinking, new consciousness battle cry to rally myself and my people.

This edition of the Conscious Politics MUST be shared as a voice that cuts through the emotional (rightly so) rhetoric and blowhards who spew it, “on both sides.”

What a game changer it will be when we look at these issues in terms of Intentions Matter. Those are the real issues. What are the intentions of those who aggressively perpetuate the same narrative? We are against cilvil rights BECAUSE I Believe -------. Let's break it down to the conscious level, because that which is where the real progress is made.
