"...May we all know what it’s like to move around in this world and return, at will, to whatever version of home most suits us. May we all experience safety and security. And stability. ...Again, I conjure all the feelings, on purpose, on behalf of those who cannot do it for themselves. To contribute to the rising of the tide. May we all sleep safely and peacefully and know deep rest."
I think you are right. The more we enjoy what we have, the happier we become and the happier we are, the happier everybody becomes around us, no matter what their condition. Great exercise that all and any of us can do.
Thank you Steven for your profoundly insightful thoughts. Your expose reminded me of the legendary, and might I add ’well documented’ story of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, who cured every patient in the criminally insane ward of a Hawaiian State Hospital over the course of two years, without ever seeing a single patient.
When I Learned of its efficacy and without truly understanding (and with many questions about how this could work...) I began using the Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness - Ho Oponopono to renew/heal family relations.
Your expose effectively removed the curtain, expanded perspective and I now understand how/why it works. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your views!
Well I am never the guy who explains HOW things work very well, nor will I try to explain how it happened here. But it did and that's fantastic, another mystery of life! :) I am very well aware of the Ho'Oponopono story to which you refer, though I hadn't thought of it while writing this piece. Same thing, for sure. And now I'm reminded of "The Hidden Messages of Water" by Masuro Emoto to say nothing of the meditation projects for peace in the Middle East and Washington, D.C. and elsewhere back in the '80's and '90's by Maharishi International University. I'm sure there are many more and they all demonstrate how very much everything is energy, how we truly are all connected, and it's such a powerful concept and tool for us to engage and employ in countless ways. Thanks for sharing.
This just inspired me to take my gratitude practice to the next level. Thank you. I can't quite pin down the correct post of yours to tag this onto but so much of what you've been writing lately brings to mind this amazing book I'm currently reading: Karma, A Yogi's Guide to Crafting Your Destiny by Sadhguru. It places the generation of ones karma directly on oneself. It's quite inspiring! As are you. Thanks, as ever.
I quite like this, Steven, and it's something that I hadn't thought of before. I will try to put it into practice.
Much appreciated, Randall. Readers, Randall is an author here on Substack, too. Check him out!
Food for thought (and practice) as always,Steven. Thank you.
You thank me and I thank you and you thank me and I thank you and and and . . . :)

Excellent prayer!

Best one so far- I love your thinking here and how you’ve connected it to feeling and imagination. We need that connection, and soon.
If you're me, your encouragement goes a very long way. Thank you.
Nice work Steven...the best days are yet to come, here now!
John! Nice to see you here, Brother. :) And thank you.
